To begin with i wouldn't want to act like am the queen of workout kingdom, but daily i am getting the realization that looking good and feeling good isn't effortless.
I am yet to acquire the discipline of taking my two liters of water a day or cutting down on the sugar, remaining discipline on how i work out. With a busy schedule one might think that setting time aside to take care of your body is next impossible but that is not the case.
Sacrificing to wake up fifteen minutes earlier and sleeping fifteen min late will ensure you have thirty minutes set aside a day. This is enough time to work out in your house.

For as long as i remember i took for granted having a flat tummy because i could eat as much as i wanted and i wouldn't sweat that i would get a little layer down there.I actually remember being teased about how i would be put in a drum full of oil and would still remain skinny.... anyway i gained a kilo or two so who is laughing now? We are all in the struggle of gaining,maintaining or losing weight,but that doesn't mean us losing sight of keeping fit .Personally i wouldn't mind adding at least one or two kilos but then again i want to remain in shape. Its a dream for almost every girl to have an amazing figure and a well toned body at the same time |
The reality of things shows up when you spend endless hours on the couch watching a series or sitting on the office desk staring at your computer. You later realize that you suddenly feel a little heavy and notice the tiny crop tops don't fit any more and you are like Houston we have a problem.
So i set out on discovery mode looking for exercises that would basically help with my abdomen and toned muscles , sit ups, crunches, twists,leg raises are things one will do at the comfort of their houses. I encourage jogging and swimming once in a while for better toned muscles. I promise that this will cost you a few hours of your sleep or free time but trust me it is worthwhile.
Smart phones have made it so easy to keep your work out schedule on point, its almost like having a gym partner at your finger tips. So i downloaded a few apps that will help me keep my workout schedule on point and just a way of being disciplined at my end.
If you plan on working out make it fun, play music, get a work out buddy, do it out doors just do something that keeps you motivated while at it.
Within no time you will be proud that you went ahead the extra mile to look good. Remember if anyone asks why you doing this and who you doing it for tell them this is for me
